Every year, Newham YFC organise for groups of young people from across a range of churches and youth groups to go to various youth residential's, such as Soul Survivor, in order to help them deepen their faith and build friendship networks.
From Saturday 19th - Wednesday 23rd August 2017, Newham YFC helped coordinate an inter-church residential trip to Soul Survivor. We took 26 young people from 6 churches across Newham.
As well as enjoying the programme of sport and music activities during the day and in the evening, they were able to join with thousands of other young Christians to worship together in the big top, hear inspiring messages, experience the holy spirit and pray for each other. All the young people had an amazing time, a couple of them became Christians and many others went forward for prayer about the issues they had been challenged on or the things that they were called to do.

Newham Youth for Christ believe that these residential trips are a fantastic way to help young people move forward in their faith journeys. We help facilitate these trips by offering to coordinate the obtaining of parental consent, transport, camping equipment, cooking & pastoral care/ supervision of the young people. This makes it easier for more churches to get involved.
In 2017 we are planning to attend the following camps:
Soul Survivor Festival (Week B)
Saturday 18th - Thursday 22nd August 2018
