Jayne Bazeley

Council of Reference

Jayne has been helping to lead churches in Newham since 1977. As well as leading PCF and Christ Church, she has also worked as a Religious Education Teacher in a local secondary school and overseas in India. Jayne is married to Luke and has 2 grown up children. She was ordained in 2002 and currently works as a youth mentor and mentoring trainer in the Plaistow area of Newham.

Andy Campbell

Andy lives in Walthamstow and has 20 years of youth work experience under his belt. He has previously worked for Redbridge Deanery, Worth Unlimited and has been an educational tutor for both CYM and Oasis.

Sally Mann

Council of Reference


Sally was born in Newham and has 21 years experience running youth work projects in the borough. Sally spent 2 years volunteering for Youth For Christ in the eighties and was Transform Newham's Youth Coordinator for 4 years. She has a PHD in Theology and is the Head of Sociology in the University of Greenwich. Outside of work, Sally helps to lead RDCC church plant in Silvertown, runs a local theology course and manages an online faith community called ‘Faith in the Dock’.

Matthew Porter

Council of Reference


Matthew works for Transform Newham - a local charity that seeks to enable Christians to come together in various workplace spheres to pray and share ideas, resources and expertise. Matthew lives in Newham and worships at Bonny Downs Baptist Church.
